INT

Return integer.

expression

A numeric constant, variable, or expression.

The INT procedure returns the integer portion of a numeric expression. No rounding is performed, and the sign remains unchanged.

Return Data Type:

REAL or DECIMAL

Example:

 !INT(8.5)     returns 8

 !INT(-5.9)    returns -5

 

x = INT(y)      !Return integer portion of y variable contents
